Tussar silk is made through a meticulous blend of wild nature and traditional tribal craftsmanship. The entire process follows a non-domesticated silk extraction cycle, where the silkworms are left to grow outdoors in their natural forest habitat rather than inside controlled breeding farms. While making these fiber you get these shorter fibers which are pulled out and spun by hand (similar to spinning cotton), creating a rougher, highly textured yarn. THese fibers are used for creating Ghicha Tussar silk sarees.
